Profile Missing Error

Most DVLOP presets are built on DVLOP's own camera profiles (DVLOP X, DVLOP III and DVLOP FILM II). Lightroom picks the right profile for your camera automatically. The "profile missing" message means Lightroom cannot find a DVLOP profile for the photo you are editing.

If you are receiving the Profile Missing error:

(1) Make sure you have imported and are editing a raw file from a supported camera. The profiles only apply to raw files – not JPEG or TIFF – and only for the cameras listed in Supported Cameras. If your camera is not listed, email hello@dvlop.com with the model.

(2) Update your camera profiles. Open the DVLOP Installer, sign in, and scroll to the Profile Updates section. When new camera profiles have been published, the rows there (DVLOP X, DVLOP III, DVLOP FILM II) read Update on their own – you don't have to check our website. Click Update on each, wait for Installed ✓, then restart Lightroom Classic and Photoshop.

You do not need to reinstall your preset packs or download a new installer. The profile updates are free and available to everyone. If you have never installed profiles with the DVLOP Installer, the rows read Install – install all three.

Note: Lightroom (Non-Classic) Desktop and Mobile cannot use these camera profiles. The presets the installer makes for them work without them.

If the rows read Installed ✓ and the error remains on a supported raw file, please contact us with your camera model and the exact message.
